For Android version 7 (Nougat) and older
1. On the phone go to Settings->Security
2. Check the box labeled "Unknown Sources"
3. Click OK and then Trust
4. Open a web browser on the phone
5. Go to https://notepage.net/download/com.notepage.smsgateway.apk
6. You may receive one or more messages, warning you to be sure you trust the source of the file. Just continue.
7. You should now be able to click on the download to open and run it.
For Android version 8 (Oreo) and newer
1. On the phone go to Settings->Apps & notifications->Advanced->Special app access->Install unknown apps
2. Select your web browser from the list (usually Chrome)
3. Click Allow from this source
4. Open that web browser on the phone
5. Go to https://notepage.net/download/com.notepage.smsgateway.apk
6. You may receive one or more messages, warning you to be sure you trust the source of the file. Just continue.
7. You should now be able to click on the download to open and run it.
Then follow these instructions to enable the 10 additional SMS Limit Extender Services.
1. On the phone, run the NotePage SMS Gateway App
2. Click on the icon of the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen
3. Select Settings from the menu
4. Click the Install button at the bottom of the screen
5. Click OK
6. You may get a warning about installing unknown apps.
6a. Click the Settings option on that screen
6b. Slide the "Allow from this source" switch to the on position
6c. Use the back button on the phone to continue
7. Click the "Install" option, and then "Done"
8. You would have to repeat step 7 ten times (once for each limit extender)
8a. Please note that the title bar may not update to display each extender's number. Continue anyway.
9. Back on the NotePage SMS Gateway Settings screen, it should now say (10 currently installed) under "SMS Limit Extender Services"
