Integrating GroundProbe SSR Viewer Alarms with PageGate

Send Text and SMS Messages from GroundProbe

Follow these steps to use GroundProbe SSR Viewer Alarms with PageGate.

The GroundProbe system generates .csv format files that PageGate then finds and processes into a SMS this is then sent out to the client via a fitted USB dial up modem fitted with a local SIM card.

GroundProbe CAD uses PageGate's GetAscii module to pass messages to PageGate for delivery. To configure PageGate to accept the messages from the CAD:

1) In Windows, create the following directory: C:\PageGateData\Ascii\

2) Open the PageGate Admin.

3) Go to Interfaces - GetAscii - Settings.

4) Set the Polling Directory to: c:\PageGateData\Ascii\

5) Put a check in Enabled.

6) Click on Apply.

7) Click on Yes.

8) Go to Interfaces - GetAscii - Settings - Advanced Polling - Files.

9) Click on Add.

10) Specify the following:
Recipient: *
From: Enter a Sender's Name here
File(s): *.csv
Path: Enter the Path to which GroundProbe is outputting its data. By default, this directory is c:\ssr\SMS\ but may be different for your installation of GroundProbe.
File Type: Adding

11) Click on Apply.

12) Go to Interfaces - GetAscii - Settings - Advanced Polling - Record

13) Specify the following:
Start Pattern: *
Start Offset: 0

End Pattern: \013\010
End Offset: 0

14) Click on Apply.

15) Go to Interfaces - GetAscii - Settings - Advanced Polling - Recipient

16) Specify the following:
Start Pattern: *
Start Offset: 0

End Pattern: -
End Offset: 0

17) Click on Apply.

18) Go to Interfaces - GetAscii - Settings - Advanced Polling - Sender

19) Select 'Static Sender'

20) Enter a Sender's Name in the Sender field.

21) Click on Apply.

22) Go to Interfaces - GetAscii - Settings - Advanced Polling - Message

23) Specify the following:
Start Pattern: *
Start Offset: 0

End Pattern: ~
End Offset: 0

24) Click on Apply.
