NotePager Pro sends alerts to cell phones and
pagers about system problems.
HANOVER, MA -- April 20, 2004 - NotePage,
Inc., a leader in the wireless messaging software
industry, announces software integration with
Kiwi Enterprises. NotePage's NotePager Pro, text
messaging software, integrates with Kiwi Enterprises'
Kiwi Syslog Daemon, network management software.
Using NotePager Pro in combination with Kiwi Syslog
adds another level of notification to network
management.
Kiwi Syslog with NotePager Pro easily informs
Network Administrators and Engineers in the event
of syslog errors, sending alerts to their cell
phones and pagers. This allows system administrators
to receive messages about firewall attacks, network
traffic, and viruses. Kiwi Syslog Daemon receives,
logs, displays and forwards syslog messages and
SNMP traps from hosts such as routers, switches,
Unix hosts and any other syslog or SNMP enabled
device.
NotePager Pro easily and quickly sends messages
to pagers and mobile phones. No longer sit at
the server, when alerts about network activity
can be sent quickly to a wireless device. Network
Administrators can react quickly to system issues,
and address them immediately, before the user
or customer does. Save time by not having to stare
at routers and switches all day, be able to react
quickly when issues do arise.
