How PageGate Sends Messages How PageGate Sends Messages

PageGate is a Wireless-messaging / SMS gateway. It can accept messages from one or more different sources, and is then able to deliver those messages to wireless devices via one or more industry standard communication methods.

PageGate can be simultaneously accepting hundreds of messages from multiple sources such as email, webpages, analog modems, manual dispatchers, integration with other applications, etc., while also delivering them with up to sixteen concurrent outbound communication sessions.

Outbound Messages - ways that PageGate can deliver outbound messages:

GSM-AT

GSM-AT
Global System for Mobile communication AT Command Set - A method used to communicate with a directly connected mobile phone or wireless modem for end-to-end wireless message delivery.
GSM-AT Protocol
GSM-AT-IP
Global System for Mobile communication AT Command Set over IP - A method used to communicate with a directly connected mobile phone or wireless modem for end-to-end wireless message delivery.
SNPP
SNPP
Simple Network Paging Protocol - A standard message delivery protocol for Internet communications to a wireless provider.
SNPP
WCTP
Wireless Communication Transfer Protocol - A standard message delivery for Internet communications to a wireless provider (both HTTP and HTTPS are supported).
Email Interface

Fax Server
FAXSrv
Microsoft Fax Server - A delivery protocol to queue fax messages with a local or network Microsoft Fax Server.

Transmission of message text to a host via a TCP/IP connection.
XMPP Protocol
XMPP / Jabber
Extensible Messaging and presence Protocol - Supports both GET and POST for outbound messages for delivery.
HTTP Get
HTTPGET
A delivery protocol that can either push information to or pull information from a web API with the GET method.
HTTP Post
HTTPPOST
A delivery protocol that can either push information to or pull information from a web API with the POST method.

TAP Over TCP IP
TAP IP
Telelocator Alphanumeric Protocol delivered by TCP/IP
File
File
The PageGate File delivery protocol is a simple, yet powerful delivery protocol. In its simplest form, using the File protocol simply writes out (saves) a text file for each message that is delivered through it. This makes the message text available to other programs or processes that may take advantage of access to it. PageGate can also be setup to run an executable and pass it the name of the newly written message files. This feature creates numerous possibilities for integration of outbound message data with other 3rd party applications.
