NotePager Pro Scheduled Message Setup Transcript
for Video:
Welcome to the tutorial on how to schedule a message
in NotePager Pro.
The first step is to run the program, so find
the icon on your desktop and double click on it.
When the program comes up, if you're using the
trial version, you'll see this prompt.
If you would like to purchase the program, left
click on Register, then left click on the Secure
Online Ordering button.
If you have already purchased, please click on
the Enter Registration Information and watch our
NotePager Pro registration tutorial.
If you would like to continue to use the trial
version, left click on the Continue button.
Scheduling a message allows you to tell NotePager
Pro not to deliver the message immediately but
to deliver it at a later date and time.
You can also have the program repeat the message
at a specified interval as well.
Once in the program, you'll want to select the
recipient, group, or series of recipients and
groups you want this scheduled message to go to.
After selecting your recipients, type the message
you would like sent in the Message Text box.
After entering the message, left click on the
Options button.
In the Advanced Message Options, you'll notice
three sections: Send Message When, Resend Message
Every, and Stop Sending Message.
In the first section, you can set the date and
time you would like the message sent.
For example, I'm going to say that I'd like
this message delivered at 9:00 AM on September
2nd, 2009.
After setting the Message Start options, you
need to choose if you want this message to be
repeated every so often or if you just want the
message delivered once.
If you do want the message to repeat, enter
the number of days, hours, or minutes you would
like the message repeated.
After setting your Repeating message options,
you'll need to tell the program when to stop sending
the message.
If the message is not going to repeat, set this
to one minute after the Message Start options.
If this message is going to repeat, enter the
date and time you would like the message to stop
repeating.
Once you've set the schedule for this message,
left click on Apply.
After clicking on Apply, left click on the Send
button. You should then see the message appear
in the Schedule category instead of the Pending
category.
If you've made a mistake and would like to edit
a scheduled message, left click on the Schedule
category.
If you want to cancel the message and delete
it from the queue, highlight the message, and
left click on the Cancel button.
To edit a message, find the message in the list,
highlight it, and left click on Edit.
After making the necessary modifications, left
click on Apply.
Then left click on Send to requeue the message.
